Designer Judi Kauffman wrote to tell us that she's been having a great time with GEO-Dies
and she shared a pair of cards with us. The duo combines heart-filled flowers cut with GEO-Die #9,
leaves made of pre-cut cardstock swirls (Half the Edge from Bazzill Basics Paper),
and Brenda Walton's Flora & Fauna Typewriter Key Grand Adhesions (K & Company).
Judi said she was thinking about spring when she made the cards, which is why she picked a
Nikki Sivils 2-sided paper with bright colors, sunny flowers and dots.
For one card, the flowers and dots are prominent; she picked an embellishment with cherries
that echo the red dots. The second card was cut so the white side is face up,
allowing the white flower in the embellishment to take center stage.
Switching from one side of the paper to the other produces such different effects!
Designer Judi Kauffman sent us some quick and easy GEO-Die cards she made with GEO-Die #10,
a variety of scrapbook papers and card stock, plus embellishments.
The embellishments she chose are adhesive-backed pearls (Queen & Co.),
Glitter Dots Peel-Offs (Elizabeth Craft Designs), phrases (unknown), stamping (Inkadinkado, Red Castle, Inc.),
Adirondacks Earthtones inks (Ranger), and stitching (#8 Fine metallic braid, Kreinik Mfg.).
