FOLD-em TEMPLATE TIPS

FOLD-em #5

FOLD-em #7

FOLD-em #8

FOLD-em #10

Templates #3, 5, 7, 8 and 10 will all be used in the same manner as FOLD-em template #2, where you cut from the corner, out, both directions. One difference is that with a circular design, such as these, you will need to slightly rotate the template to make each cut. Also, with #3, 7 and 8, you will need to slightly rotate the knife handle in your hand, in order to follow the slight curve of the slits. When folding the large flaps, fold any one of them and continue in the direction of the arrows formed by the flaps. In this manner, the folded flap will not interfere with the next flap to be folded (except with the last flap). Roll with the ROLLER-CREASER as before.

Templates #5, 7 and 8 can make 2 designs each by cutting every other pair of lines. A pair is a long line and a short line. You can view samples of these on a later page in this tutorial or by clicking here.
