In the above examples, we illustrate the use of our reverse technique. With some of our vinyl stickers, after the intended sticker is removed, there are "waste" pieces that most people either throw away, or save, hoping some day they will find a use for them. Well, that day has come. After the sticker is removed, cut around the remaining pieces to separate from the rest of the page. NOTE: before using ANY stickers, I usually remove the vinyl that surrounds the stickers by starting at one corner and pulling this area off. It should come off as one large waste piece. (in some cases, you may find a use for this large piece, such as placing on a card for a unique background design). This also makes it easier to remove stickers from the backing. To remove the "waste" pieces, use Scotch tape. Place strips of tape over the "waste" pieces, overlapping each strip about 1/16" until all sticker pieces are covered. You may want to experiment with regular tape, and removeable tape. Depending on the amount of adhesive on the sticker, and the consistency of the paper/card stock you are using, you may have better success with regular tape vs. removeable tape. Experiment to determine which works best in a particular situation. After the tape is placed on the sticker pieces, use the end of a knife (smooth) handle to rub the tape onto the sticker pieces. Turn over and rub from the back to help loosen the adhesive on the back of the sticker. Hold flat on the table, with the tape side down, and remove the backing at a very flat angle. This will help keep the sticker pieces stay stuck to the tape and remove the backing. This may take a bit of practice to master. If using removable tape and you find the pieces staying stuck to the backing, you may want to try using regular tape. After the backing is removed, place in desired location on card and again, rub the sticker pieces to adhere them to your paper/card stock. If using regular tape, do not rub any tape where there are no sticker pieces. This may cause the tape to stick to the paper better and, when removing it, tear your paper/card stock. There are advantages and disadvantages to using both kinds of tape. Try both and decide which works best for you in each particular situation. The 0715j (or 0716j) sticker is an easy one to practice on. It only requires one strip of tape to remove the "waste" pieces.

In the example on the left, butterfly stickers 0715j (gold) and 0716j (silver) were used. The gold waste pieces are used with the silver sticker and the silver waste pieces are used with the gold sticker. Remove the stickers from the backing and place somewhere other than on your card. Use the "reverse" technique described above to place the "waste" pieces on your card. Place the silver sticker around the gold "waste" pieces and vice versa. Use the same procedure for the dragonfly (stickers 4070j-gold and 4071j-silver). Use 0995j-Happy Anniversary and flowers, 2310j-corners, and 0841g-wavy lines to finish the card.

In the example on the right, we used the same procedure with stickers 3710j-gold and 3711j-silver.
